Psychology team

All of the psychologists work voluntarily for the charity whilst practising as an Educational Psychologist for local authorities. They are all registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Dr Rachel Pawsey, Educational Psycologist
I believe that being an Educational Psychologist is the best job there is as we are fortunate to work collaboratively with people using the principles of psychology.

I hope that by helping people to understand themselves and people they care about, they will develop their resilience and wellbeing.

Dr Sam Beasely, Educational Psychologist
I've seen that giving people the time and safe space to problem-solve with an Educational Psychologist can really help.

I enjoy supporting people to build the confidence to manage their situation in a way that feels right for them.

Dr Laura Giles, Educational Psychologist
I enjoy being an Educational Psychologist.

I volunteer for PAUSE because I love meeting and spending time with children and adults, and I enjoy helping others to get through difficult things.

Sue Sheppard, Educational Psychologist
I have been an Educational Psychologist for 20 years.

I have joined PAUSE because I love my work and am really pleased to be asked to continue to support parents and children voluntarily now that I have retired.
